Silver Birch Growth (SBG) was founded by Randy Gilling in 2023 in Toronto Canada, and immediately pioneered a cost-disruptive way to grow faster and with less risk, while scaling with quality revenue teams. We help companies invest in the best technologies by scouting out the best founders, teams, and by solving repeatable market problems. Since its initial founding, the company has supported businesses across five industry verticals—consumer goods, entertainment and media, finance, health and wellness, and manufacturing and energy—while unlocking 20-50X millions in incremental revenue for businesses.

Randy was a thoughtful revenue strategist and executioner at S&P Global leading large revenue teams to top global offices and integrating. As the CRO then CEO at Kognitiv, he helped bring a European B2B SaaS business to North America. In addition, he led various acquisitions, capital raises, and helped scale organically. Today, Randy’s Silver Birch Growth teams are intimately working directly with founders, CEOs, and revenue leaders augmenting part or all of the sales GTM and commercial strategy with milestone achievements and projects exceeding expectations.

Chief Operating Officer
Spencer has served as the CEO of multiple start-ups and recently held leadership positions in Amazon and Chewy. Just in the past 10 years, he has launched and ramped 6 new businesses and multiple new product offerings resulting in $1B+ in sales in the ecommerce, biotech, health-tech, SaaS and tech sectors. He has built and led teams at Fortune 500 companies across multiple disciplines including sales, corporate development, product management, program management, strategy and engineering.
